Okay I was talking about buying this before the direct wind hit CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa on August 10th. If only I had decided earlier! No power for about 12 days is rough at 75 dew point and 75 humidity! Sleep worse! My dog and I slept in a fan after the city charged it with gas generators at charging stations. Doesn't matter! Airflow is what you miss when there's no power. After the power came back I bought 2 portable batteries to keep them always charged. You never know when the crazy storms here in the Midwest will go unnoticed. Plus, you can put it on the table next to your bed and not trip over it like you would when using a table fan in the hallway in the middle of the night. It's just damn comfortable. It even has a setting that resembles a gentle breeze blowing through a window. It will slow down and then give you a gust of wind. Would I buy again at this point. Something is wrong with my fan and me + the dog. lol If this causes me problems in the future I will change my rating. At the moment the attitude is the administrator.
