Review on πŸ”Œ Taymac 2600W Revive Device Wall Plates: Upgrade Your DΓ©cor with 1-Gang Masque Decorator Cover in White by Mike Stevenson

Easy update for remodeled bathroom

I recently painted my circa 1975 bathroom and wanted to get rid of the old beige light switches but didn't want to update them. When I saw these faceplates at Revain I decided to give them a try. Installation couldn't be easier. You remove the screws from the old switch bezel and replace it with this TayMac plate. A flathead screwdriver is all you need for this upgrade, and in about a minute you'll have a new-looking light switch that's easy to turn on and off. These lids appear to be well made (white plastic is thicker than average). They add dimension to light switches and have an audible click when you flick the switch, but the action is smooth. Some of these little things are repulsive, but you can get used to them. Definitely easier than reassembling and this small compromise is not decisive for me.

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
Cons
  • Hard to tell
