I don't know how long the embellishments/tape on these headbands will last but so far they are a delight for a 5 year old. She usually likes to wear bows and bobby pins in her hair — it's a nice change of pace, and there's a colored headband that goes with almost any outfit. They are comfortable although they have protective caps on each end - I think this helps hold the band better and also provides some head comfort. The plastic headband itself is not of the highest quality, but the glittery hearts, butterflies and stars glued onto the colored band make this cute hair accessory.
