Review on 🔧 General Tools 142 English Plastic: Precision Hand Tool for All-Purpose Applications by Daryl Fitch

NOTE: The caliper currently produced and sold is made of a different plastic, was formerly gray but is now black and unfortunately no longer has a conversion chart label on the back as stated in the description. (see photos for old, new and old comparison) I'd say the material change is negligible and actually appears to be a little tighter tolerance than my old one, but removing the conversion chart is a huge loss. This table was worth all the printing and gluing costs. I would pay $5 more for this tool to include a spreadsheet. It is very misleading that the translation table is still listed as an attribute in the function descriptions because it no longer exists. Overall, the quality of this lightweight caliper is good. I used to have two of these and they worked well for my needs until the jaws wore out and the tool lost accuracy. The plastic design feels nice and I love that it's so light.
