Review on KODAK Luma 350: Portable Smart Projector with Crystal-Clear Ultra HD Imaging, Android 6.0, Wi-Fi, Streaming Apps, Mirroring, and Remote Control by Tyler Dorsey

I bought my Kodak LUMA 350 a month ago and used it for 2 courses at my workplace. Both classes consisted of 20-25 people each. I have it plugged in so I can't comment on the battery life of this little projector. However, it was surprisingly powerful for my tiny size, and when used with my tiny (10″) table tripod, I was able to zoom up to 90″ with no clarity issues. I haven't experimented with a display size over 110 inches just because at over 100 inches it's more than enough for any room in the room. Compared to my 2016 55 inch LG 4K Smart TV to be honest when viewing video size by size. In a dark room I would say they are comparable. However, the TV was $499 and this projector was only $299. Now of course the TV has no background noise when running and the built in speaker is way better than the LUMA but if you think about the flexibility of how you can take the LUMA with you and stick it in your backpack for a day at friends house or at a party , it has a TV rhythm. Another thing I liked about LUMA is that it has a native resolution of 854 x 480 and can display quality up to 1080p. Think of the Youtube quality, it's HD at best (usually 720p seems to be best, maybe for some videos it goes up to 1080p) and that's exactly what all the other streaming sites have. So with this projector, the image stays with a 1:1 ratio of input to output. MEANING? This means that the videos will be stretched in some way when viewed. The only thing that makes me give this product 5 stars is the mobile app and the remote control. So the app usually shuts down within a minute after pairing with LUMA and the whole thing is broken. The remote control moves pixel by pixel by clicking when using the mouse function, it may take more than a minute to find something when using the built-in applications. I personally use an HDMI cable to connect to my laptop and then display from there this is the easiest way to use LUMA. Another option that works well is to mirror your phone to LUMA, which is very convenient. Overall, I would recommend LUMA. Compared to the equally priced Anker Capsule, the CAPSULE has a much better built-in speaker, but not as big as LUMA claims. Using the remote control is just as bad (I know a friend bought CAPSULE) but their mobile app is easier to use and doesn't get in the way as easily as LUMA. I personally just connect my Bluetooth speaker to LUMA because there was no reason to use a projector with a powerful speaker when I had a working speaker as is. If you don't have a speaker yet, the CAPSULE is 3-5 times louder than LUMA and works about the same with a display up to 80 inches (I don't know more because my friend only has 80 inches). Hometown)
