These are bolts and they have one function: to hold things together. I don't understand how there can be grayscale here because it either works or it doesn't. As far as I can tell they are exactly the same as any other grade 8 screw I've ever bought. No, I did not test them to verify the stress/strain curve. It seems to me that everything is fine.
