This is not just a static adhesive. You need to follow 9 steps including thoroughly cleaning and dampening the glass, measuring and cutting the film, removing the plastic film, spraying soapy water on the film, spraying soapy water on the window, sticking the film on the window and spraying on more soapy water remove the foil, air bubbles and bumps and trim the edge of the window frame. Then you don't have to worry if you get fingerprints on any of the materials because you can't clean the side of the window.
