These are really wonderfully comfortable pants to sleep in and nice-looking enough to step outside without looking like you're wearing pajamas. The elastic waist is fitted enough to keep the pants up, with a drawstring to customize the fit, and the not-too-tight not-too-loose straight legs actually come all the way down to the bottom of my ankles. The fabric is substantial and soft, a good weight for the colder months. Also, the "new clothes smell" washed out with just a couple of pre-wear washes, unlike many new garments.
