Please do not buy from this company. This product liability lawsuit is pending in federal court. I followed the directions to the tee. I washed the pots + lids with hot soapy water and put them on medium heat to cook the noodles. I put the lid on, after 3 minutes I wanted to take it off and when I lifted the lid it exploded, the glass composite shattered and splattered everything around. Thank god I wasn't hurt except for a few fragments in my hand. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! The lid will explode - see picture. I contacted the company and they still haven't responded which is shocking. Revain, in her honor, gave me my money back.
