I like that its fur lined all the way to the toes. I am 8.5 in shoes and I purchased a 9 for thick socks for added warmth and comfort while walking. I didn't get to use them in the snow when I travelled to NY in Feb to give a fair review on how they held up. However, I still used them in Manhattan where I did a fear amount of walking. Persons who reviewed this boot and said there was not much comfort with regards to the sole of your feet are correct. After a while you feel the pavement. A cushion insole is definitely needed with this boot for support. Overall it kept my feet warm enough. I just have to test it out in the snow.P.S. I did not experience any weird or bad small as some reviewers stated.
