It was the perfect set! We managed to pierce my 13 year old's nose (a birthday present). If you don't have access to an autoclave like we do, you can sterilize the needle in boiling water for an additional 20 minutes. Or soak the needle in 70% isopropyl alcohol or 6% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes. These needles come pre-sterilized, but it always helps to be safe and not have regrets when it comes to something you are going to insert into your body.
