I have a 33" waist and after reading the reviews I made my decision for a large/x-large I didn't want it to be too short, it's too long, I can thread it through the belt loop on the side of my jeans, I measured the belt and it's just under 48" with the rings it's almost 49", he said. The length is only 45 inches for a large/extra large. Not only is the material too long, but it's well made and the metal end fits through the hinges really well. I order small/medium and hope it's not too short.I just received the small/medium and it fits better.The metal end stings my stomach sometimes but not so much that I can't wear it.The photos I've enclosed , were large/x-large and photos of both with tape measure.
