Review on Cuccio Naturale Milk And Honey Hydrating Dry Body Oil With Rich Butter Blend by Nick Shirodkar

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Immediate softness doesn't last but the moisture does

Got this after a couple of friends mentioned it. I chose this one for the scent (Vanilla is a scent favorite of mine). Here are my impressions after opening and using this today after a shower:1. The jar is small. Not teeny but it is tiny. And for almost 8 bucks.2. There is NO Vanilla Bean or Sugar smell *at all*. I do get a whiff of cocoa butter.3. Even putting a tiny bit on my hands was effective. There was an immediate softness that is hard to describe. Kind of velvety. There is zero oily feeling.4. After 2 or 3 minutes, the "dewy" softness was gone but my skin was still hydrated. There was none of the ashy look I get with dried out skin after a shower. And when I pinched the skin, I could tell that it was seriously hydrated.5. While I LOVE this cream, I would need something larger than this 1.5-oz or the 8-oz jar and they don't have anything larger in this "scent". This 1.5-oz jar might last me a couple of months if I only use it for my hands. I want some for all-over.6. The price is high for the larger sizes of the other scents. My biggest dislike is the scent. I'd rather have it unscented. One reason I chose this one in particular was for the Vanilla Bean & Sugar scent. Those are my favorites and I'd hoped to use this cream to accentuate my perfumes. That's not going to happen. The cocoa butter smell only interferes with the perfume. So, I guess this is a 4.5-star for the skincare properties but only 2-star for the scent.

Pros
  • It goes on smooth and non greasy. Nice scent. Great for dry hands.
Cons
  • Not suitable for use on the face
