I have headphones that I like but they don't have a microphone. I work a lot with VOIP/Games/Teamspeak/Mumble. I ordered these 3 packs as an attempt at a quick fix to a problem with a headset with no mic. Here's what I did: I grabbed a paper clip and bent it into an "L". ' form. The microphone is wrapped around the paper clip. Fixed lapel clip on headset cable. Tear the cable at a different location to secure it. Put on your headphones and bend the paper clip into the optimal position. Make a few recordings to test the microphone's sound quality and be pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. So if you have headphones that you are addicted to for comfort/sound/fit and need your voice pickup fixed, ignore the aesthetics. I recommend these mics as a good addition and quick fix.
