Review on Extra Large Thick Defrosting Tray by Victor Ahmed

I wasn't very impressed with this defrost plate. I was hoping this would speed up the thawing process, but it was like leaving food on the counter to thaw. I have tried using it every other day but it has never thawed faster than the water and/or counter method. I even tested it with a 15 ounce bag of pumpkin puree that's less than half an inch thick and it took 5 hours to thaw and I poured warm water into the tray underneath and placed the tray under the water to seal it to heat up. Disappointed that this didn't work as it would have been a great bonus if I had forgotten to take my protein in the morning.
