Very unreliable and unstable
Very unstable, wobbly, I can't detach the roof rack with two hands when using it. I bought another design that seemed safer and more stable, and it was. In a sturdier design, a stand-on platform hangs below the vehicle door hook (about 4 inches lower). It has a standing platform right at the level of the door hook, which makes it seem more wobbly and feels extremely unstable.
