I really liked this cable after 2 1/2 months of use. I used it in my car to power my iPhone. The coiled cord was neater than regular cord and looked premium with a fabric jacket and spring reinforcement on each connector. About a week ago I noticed my phone's display turning on and off randomly while driving and thought it was because the charging was intermittently interrupted. I wiggled the plugs on the charger and the phone and found that it would only charge if I pressed the plug on the phone. I'm not aware of any stress on the plug while I've had it and I've never tugged on the cord itself to disconnect the plug from the phone, so I can only attribute the fault to a manufacturing defect. The return took too long, but the lifespan of only 2 1/2 months is not satisfactory, so I will not buy another one.
