No broken pins yet. If you need a tighter stitch than a knife blade (about 3/4 inch) but the 3/8 inch stitch is difficult and time consuming, get a 5/8 inch loom. There aren't many free templates out there, so I experimented with Knifty Knitter types. The edge of the e-wrap/purl is too loose, knit/purl and U-knit/purl are fine for me. The cap body knit loop is too tight, the electronic cape is right - think about it. Tight stitch patterns like star stitch (you work 3 stitches) will cause the pins to bend - be careful. Even beginners will love them.
