I need to extend my WiFi antennas about 15 feet off the ground, my husband is hiding in an old underground bomb shelter about 50 feet from the house where the router is located. I am using Wi-Fi 6 ROG nic and AX11000 ROG router and my signal strength is around 30% at 480/Mb down, with my laptop next to the router with Wi-Fi 6 nic my speed is around 800/Mb down, so I'm trying to see if I can get that speed cheaply as I still don't have enough for a wifi 6 extender. So I tried to extend my antenna above the ground since my laptop loses about 650/MB on the bunker. but these upgrades reduced my signal by 8%, resulting in a drop of about 20/Mb for me. Now I just have to wait until I can afford a WiFi 6 extender.
