I've just received it but it already looks dodgy. Scratches and stains on a protective solar surface. The whole unit is not durable and light at all. There was no car plug in the package. The panels don't generate any noticeable current from artificial light in the room, which is a bad sign. I have to test that in the afternoon. There will be an update. 10/31/2019 - clear sunny skies (update) I have to say I'm impressed! My dead battery reads 11.25 volts, when charged with a solar panel it reaches 13.69 in direct sunlight! During the day the voltage fluctuates between 13.0 and 13.3 volts DC. That's good, but it takes a full day to charge the battery. On the other hand, no harmful gases. This makes me think about bringing this back for the 20 watt version.
