Review on 🔧 ESCO 10498 Heavy-Duty Jack Stand, 3 Ton Load Capacity, Silver by Antoine Cash

First of all: order them separately, if possible individually. I've bought 3 so far. I need 4 for my 340i and Jetta girlfriends. If you order them in pairs, they'll arrive pretty jacked, no pun intended. The packaging of the single is pretty bad. All 3 boxes I've received so far have been damaged with parts of the stand penetrating the box. The frames are undamaged so it is important to only order one at a time. The paint is good, but nothing special. I'm thinking of spraying them with Plasti Dip or Rust-Oleum to give them a protective coating. I am confident that they will last a lifetime until the rust and corrosion is gone. The welds aren't very good, but they're more than enough to keep the jack from collapsing. The rubber caps feel nice but I don't think they will last long. Hockey pucks fit perfectly in the recessed circle at the top of the stand, which is why they are so coveted. My main problem is the price. One of them costs as much as a pair of stands that will surely get the job done. They are not made in the USA and certainly not with insane attention to detail. A stand doesn't cost $55, whatever the price seems to be. The price history shows that the price does not deviate from $55. They cost $35 each. $35 would be a very fair price and means you can get 4 for $140 which is fine with me. Instead I spend $220 for 4 of these, that's how much my jack costs. This is the only jack with this design, which unfortunately is the safest and also the most functional for the types of vehicles we will be placing on it. Unfortunately they cost so much but I base this on the hope that they will last a lifetime and give me the confidence to be safe under a car. It would be nice to have some sort of bulk discount if you buy 4 though. I will update this review once I use it.
