Review on πŸ₯ͺ SAVOYCHEF Sandwich Cutter and Sealer - Perfect Lunchbox and Bento Box Solution for Boys and Girls - Fun and Easy Sandwich Cutters for Kids by Angie Love

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for PP&J and mini apple pies!

Uncrustables takes a little practice, less is more if you don't want the filling bursting through the sandwich. A thin layer of peanut butter on both slices of bread will help the jam or jelly seep through the bread, making it purple and wet. Pooh! Put the jam or jelly on just one piece and then stack them together. Wet bread is a must! Another reviewer also mentioned using a rolling pin to make the bread slices bigger and thinner. game changer! Now the choice is much larger. If you use the rolling pin trick, also roll the center of the bread outward to keep the crust upright so you can remove it. Don't flatten the crust! I wish I would have liked your review when I saw it genius! Making mini cakes is easy too! Buy the bowl from the store or make your own, the same goes for applesauce. Homemade is best (that's what I used). If using homemade, make sure it has cooled before adding to the batter. Cut the dough the same way you would when making a sandwich. Place about a tablespoon or less in the center of the dough, add the top piece of dough, and line up the edges. You may need to stretch the dough a bit to make it even. Then fold the dough. Press lightly on the top of the dough to spread the filling evenly around the edges. Rinse the dough with egg and sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Prick the top with a fork or make a small cut with a knife to release steam. Bake at 350 until golden. Delicious! Imagine a fake McDonald's apple pie, but better!
