I am a retired confectioner. I had an older model that I used in commercial baking which is quite a noisy environment with all the equipment used. This newer model I use at home has 2 horn noise levels which is good as I don't need a loud horn in a quieter environment. My old one was simply worn out after more than ten years of continuous use. A solid item suitable for home baking or cooking and also suitable for the real world of commercial baking with 4 timers that you can use at the same time as most bakeries use more than one oven at a time.
