Don't overtighten. The nylon washer breaks easily.
Some of these reviews relate to other Gates hoses. PN 360530 uses a nylon seal on the flare connection. If you overtighten it will collapse and you won't get a replacement gasket. EDIT: Here's a spare disc in case you mess up the original. Assortment/dp/B000COCXO0
