As others have noted it 'scratches' a bit (not deeply and I think it just adds character). But if something like this is put in a pocket with coins, keys, etc., then it will get scratched. I don't see that as a problem at all. Also, it takes a bit of getting used to to use it all over the floor quickly and without any map splatter. Don't try to look fantastic. Use the thumb hole, raise your cards and pull out what you need. With a little practice, it's easy to reopen the wallet and reinsert the card into the deck. I travel for work all the time, so at least twice a week I pull my ID out of my wallet to fish out my phone, then stuff everything in my backpack before it gets x-rayed. It didn't take long (literally 1 time) to get the hang of it. As for the cost. If you want something cheap then don't buy a wallet that is literally made out of titanium. Take one made of aluminum, steel or plastic. When you want something well made (attached with torx screws and supplied with a torx screwdriver for disassembly/reassembly) and want some flexibility because your hard work has paid off and you're good to go. I don't see anything wrong with that. The quality matches the price and it's American made. I am very glad that I got a money band instead of a money clip. I usually carry very little cash and I currently have $5 and $1 bills lying around without falling out. I've also carried up to $400 for 20 with a money strap and had no problems with that either. I'm not a fan of money clips, but if you are, there's an option too. And you can switch between them if you want! Money clip and money strap can be purchased separately. Conclusion - after years of fiddling with Coach wallets and a few other designer labels. that's actually what i wanted. A strong, durable, handsome men's wallet that isn't a massive bundle of uncomfortable cowhide in my pockets. The best wallet I have ever bought and have had many over the years.
