Please do not buy this lock. Mine broke in less than 1 year. I oiled this lock at least once a month to keep it working properly. In the morning before I left for my trek I wanted to unlock it to plug in my van and the lock was completely frozen. It was so bad I had to go to a locksmith to have it drilled out. The locksmith said he had seen it in this lock style many times before. He explained that the rear spring that allows the locking mechanism to lock the pin has failed. No matter how much oil and grease you put on this lock, it will fail and you will have to drill it out. He urged me to look for another type of lock that doesn't use a return spring. I should have listened to others who looked through this lock and spoke of its malfunction.
