Review on Vaper 19220 Triple Set Up Spray by Zachary Greene

I have been painting and touching up cars, furniture and other objects for about forty years. I needed a new touch up gun and after reading the reviews I decided to buy this gun. I've used it several times including painting 50 pumpkins to keep my wife's handwork going and I really like this gun. It works great, the air control works well and the atomized mist is well atomized and consistent. The gun is well built and doesn't use much air. I used a small Porter Cable nail compressor and it's more than enough. It works so well I bought a second one to use in my second home. 2012 - Update. I was cleaning the gun at the kitchen sink (don't tell your wife!) and lost sight of the plastic disc behind the nozzle. I laid the pieces on a paper towel to dry and moved on to other things. Later my wife brought me this shredded piece of plastic and asked if I knew what it was. When I turned pale, she realized it was important. He managed to get into the garbage chute. I tried smoothing out the nozzle disk, but when I tried it in the gun, air bypassed it and gushed back into the fluid cup. The gun will continuously squirt, burp, squirt, burp. Pretty useless as it is. I've searched the internet for replacement discs, but to no avail. Eventually I called Titan support, told them my sad story and the gentleman on the other end of the line said 'well we don't sell this part separately but I can take one and send it to you. Will tomorrow be fast enough? Is the camp closed now? What great customer service! Incidentally, I later discovered that Vaper has a repair kit (item 19908) for less than $10 that contains this part, plus a new needle, spray nozzle, various plastic gaskets, O-rings, and springs - seventeen parts in all! I love this little touch up gun - it replaced my favorite Binks 117 but I was dying to upgrade to HVLP so I bought a vaper when it needed an overhaul. Now I love him even more.
