Purchased size 'Large' for my 18lb Gertie. Cat - was too big but I think 'medium' would be too small. So far it seems well done, but my biggest dislike is the technology. There's a metal clip that slides up and down to 'secure' it - I thought it was more like a standard harness, while about 6 inches of a 'leash' dangles from the harness that goes across your back Cat dangles when it is not attached to the leash. It wasn't what I thought and they weren't able to show the 'full' picture of it in the ad. By the way, my cat's front paws came off a few minutes after latching it on, so that's not "escape-proof" either.
