I have been recommending products to my friends/family for many years. I pride myself on testing a product before recommending it and after just a week of use I will recommend it to anyone looking for noise canceling Bluetooth in-ear headphones. Compared to other products on the market they are totally worth the current list price of $200 and they look almost as good as they feel! Overall build quality 9.2/10 - 10/10 sound quality and noise reduction - 10/10 battery life - 10/10 call quality - 8/10 looks - 10/10 phone app - 7/10 build quality - 10/10 metal mixed with smooth silicone, with click buttons . It's always difficult to buy a product online without seeing it first, especially when there are very few product reviews online. I took the plunge of buying these based on other products Libratone has to offer. Quality is important to me and I was pleasantly surprised when I first touched it in the box. The silicone feels BIG. It is true. smooth; smooth. Almost like a gel. I'm trying to find a common item that seems similar, but I just can't find it. It blends seamlessly with the aluminum frame, giving it a cool feel that I love about my electronics. Like the cool feel of aluminum on a Mac, it feels precise and premium. Since every ear is different, I can't say much about the in-ear fit. I found I should have a fairly standard ear as most headphones tend to fit right out of the box. So for me they snuggled tight and stayed in place. I was able to complete 4 hours of workouts with no adjustments. The long insert just behind the ear is comfortably shaped and the 5 different ear pad sizes are perfect for most. They should become more frequent. 4 different sizes and this odd shaped contraption that is 'suitable' when you're trying to level up (Spartan races?). I don't consider myself a music lover, but I wouldn't say I have "cheap" hearing. I currently have a pair of Sennheiser HD 598, Sony MdR1R noise canceling headphones and AKG in-ear headphones that came with the Samsung S8+ (metal). Thanks to noise cancellation and sound quality, this is my choice now. to headphones for everyday use. The noise cancellation can be actively controlled via the Libratone app. And when I say active, I mean as you scroll through 4 increasingly powerful noise reduction options and you can instantly hear them reflected. This allows you to effortlessly fine-tune the balance between background noise and audio to your liking. Battery life is 10/10. Revain's description says 8 hours and I'd say that's pretty accurate. An hour of use got me to just over 85% and it maintained that trajectory the entire time. Of course, lithium-ion batteries have a finite lifespan, so after three uses, this is at least a good starting point. I could use them consistently throughout the day and finish my workouts at the gym and still have about 15% left over. I push my electronics so I have enough for the whole day! They seem to charge quickly. I can't talk much about it as I'm very busy charging my electronics kit every night. With the charge time "1 hour" in the description, you should be able to charge it up in 15 minutes and get enough to last you an hour at the gym. Communication quality - 8/10 from my side. Big. Clear and easy to hear. On the caller's side. This requires additional testing. Most calls were good and clear. I've had a few callers who said they heard a slight hiss or white noise in the background behind me. But both callers said it wasn't a problem and they could hear me just fine. I'm assuming it's active noise-cancelling, working to block out background noise during a call. My main complaint is that I can't adjust the strength of ANC while using the app on a call. But that can be fixed with an update, so I assume so. Appearance - 10/10 Smooth and soft appearance. I've never liked the look of Bluetooth headphones just hanging around your neck, but when they're in each ear they're clean. The matte surface of the rubber is barely perceptible, but not noticeable. Exactly what I'm looking for. Phone App - 7/10 The app is clean and has some nice animations. Although it's not very easy to use right away, it's easy to find out by clicking in a few minutes. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Good job Libratone.
