Very good value for money. Clear glass, and if you have no idea what a specific focal length means, then don't buy those random lenses. With some lenses, however, the surface appears grainy rather than smooth. Also small chips. I've only noticed this on closer inspection (I'm picky) in fairly strong light and I'm sure it won't noticeably affect performance (I intend to build an optical bench). The convex lenses create a nice clear image of my sunny garden on the wall. If you place convex lenses FL 20 cm and 50 cm 70 cm apart, a magnetic field will be generated. 2.5x, for those interested in building a Kepler telescope for demonstration purposes. Even higher magnification can be achieved by using a negative lens as a Barlow/focus expander and adding another positive lens to the eyepiece system. Good product; would recommend. I just don't like these surface defects on some lenses.
