Saved us and our pets.
Our cooker knobs are very easy to push and turn, so pretty quickly we knew we had to do something. Several people live in our house so luckily someone showed up after someone accidentally knocked on the stove and didn't realize the burners were on but not lit. There were several such fears in the family. They fixed everything. Even if they are not closed (the top can detach), they still prevent the handles from moving. They literally save lives.
