Review on ๐Ÿ’ผ Alpine Swiss Expandable Business Wallet featuring Blocking Technology by Shannon Vegesna

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ideal for transporting many cards.

I usually carry quite a few cards with me for office and personal use, as well as insurance and other ID and club/fitness memberships, so I'm happy to report that this case is perfect solution. The case has a compartment for a driver's license etc. and offers space for two/three cards. On the other side of the case is an (almost) thin slot that can hold four or five cards, but the more cards there are in that bay, the more it obstructs the largest bay, which will likely hold 15 or more cards. Finally, there's a pocket on the back of the case that's actually just a slit in the leather. The leather on three sides of the largest section is very flexible, which is why the case can hold so many cards in this section. The more cards I carried, the more the inverted window piece tended to bulge outward, but I don't see that as a problem. I rarely carry my wallet in my coat pocket, always in my front pocket - I was once told by a professional thief that this is the safest area! When I'm wearing a suit/blazer I usually carry a lot less cards and use a different holder. The Swiss Bags Card wallet could hold folded banknotes if you wanted to I think, but there should be quite a few depending on how many cards are in the wallet. I have an aluminum Ogon wallet but it couldn't hold a lot of cards without splitting and it's hard to find leather cases that hold a large number of cards and as I don't have RFID cards yet and even if I would have made a piece of foil in which case that would help. The case has a fairly discreet Swiss flag button. one angle - i daresay it might look like a product of the swiss army. The leather isn't bad, but you won't mistake it for an LV/Hermes thing. If I had one complaint it would be the skin around the large part which is quite thin so I'm not sure how durable it would be. But I think it was designed to be flexible rather than rigid and unyielding, so the number of cards carried can vary. It acts like a harmonica, squeezing more evenly when you have fewer cards in that larger section. I usually carry the three cards I use most in the smaller inner pocket and it's easy for me to choose the one I want to use without having to pull them all out. I keep the less used ones in the larger department. In a way I wish they were better quality as I wouldn't mind paying $80 for them let alone $8 but I don't want to be misled as they really aren't that different. . I saw a price of $40 or $50. I don't usually stand there with my wallet open, so I'm not too worried about the quality - it looks good enough and it's still mostly tucked away in my hand. I will be buying a few more as spares as these card cases are sometimes hard to come by and downright cheap.
