I had to take away the pineapple after 2 minutes because my dog had already chewed a giant chunk off the leaves. I understand that no fabric is indestructible. And while the fabric on this toy does seem much more sturdy than other toys, that also seemed to make it easier for my dog to chew a chunk off.The pineapple itself seems to be quite durable. And my dog was startled, and excited, when it squeaked. Usually the tougher toys don't squeak.So be observant if you have a dog that likes to chew fabric, because I imagine they'll make short work of the leaves. But I don't think there's a better squeak toy on the market for an aggressive chewer.
