This is a great upgrade over regular BraavaJet disposable pads. They are fixed in the same way - by inserting the part that identifies the mode into the bracket. This piece is punched with small holes that BraavaJet reads to determine what type of cleaning to perform. For user convenience, the colors of the reusable pads are the same as the disposable pads (blue=wet, orange=wet, white dry). There is a piece of Velcro attached to the mode-identifying elements that easily attaches to the back of the cleaner. pads When you're done cleaning, you can remove the cover and simply pull out the plastic portion of the badge to store it in a safe place. The pads wash fairly well (I used cold water and Purex) and dry quickly when put in the dryer. I am very happy with the cleaning they provide and even more pleased that the plastic parts have velcro closures. This means you can use the pads for any cleaning routine simply by attaching the right plastic element. Don't worry about running out of a certain type of clean pads! They don't have cleaner, but I mixed Scooba Hard Floor Cleaner with a water ratio of 1.5tbsp:32oz. I keep it in a spray bottle and spray the cleaning pad about three times before launching Braava. It does a great job on my bathroom and kitchen floors - my WetJet has never been close to it. If you're interested in more options for your Braava, an app is available that gives you more control over the water used for each pad. The wet washable pad count was much less than the wet disposable pad count - after I increased it to medium it worked much better than the default setting.
