Review on C900 ORB Installation: Premier Copper Products for Easy and Elegant Installation by Andy Hearshman

Seen on manufacturer's YouTube using it to attach a sink to a countertop. I tried to repeat what I saw. Failed. The thickness of the product combined with the chunky, clunky metal "toothpaste tube" it comes in makes it very difficult to apply with good results. Trying to squeeze the tube with your hand as you move along the edge of the sink in hopes of getting an even bead is a silly idea. Then you try smoothing it out with your finger (like in the maker's video) and you end up with something that looks straight out of a preschool finger painting lesson. I waited a few hours for it to partially set then it came loose fairly easily with just a plastic spatula (to its credit it did a great job securing the sink to the countertop - had to pull a bit to get that sink to remove) . I will still be using this product to seal drains and I'm sure it will do the job well, but tomorrow I'm going to the hardware store to buy a tube of silicone sealant which I'll be sure to make. best result.
