We have an inexpensive security camera that you can use to regularly check on our phone/tablet apps what is happening to our terminally ill adult family member who is staying at our home. This camera has two-way audio and works great when the guardian starts a conversation. But there was no easy way for the patient to start a conversation and ask for help. So far! This CallToU system is easy to set up and use. Unlike most baby monitors and other doorbell systems, CallToU allows one hanging bell to call multiple recipients, so someone can sleep upstairs, another caregiver downstairs, etc. The call button is not too big and not too small, it can be worn as a necklace , hung on a towel hook in the bathroom, or simply carried in a pocket as the patient moves around the house. For our 3 story townhouse we have found that 2 receivers cover the whole house perfectly. Best of all, it's inexpensive - for just $40, our patient can now get help without having to yell when trying to wake someone else or pay an expensive monthly fee. Since our patient will rarely, if ever, be home alone, we really had no need for an expensive, full-featured, monthly paid monitoring service that calls for help outside the home, so CallToU is perfect for our needs!
