Checksum error on the last line

April 19, 2021 Well this is my 3rd attempt to buy this printer and 2nd time from this particular list. This time it arrived with a top strap that looked like someone cut it off with scissors. It literally just arrived and I haven't even started assembling it yet. I'll try again in about a month. I really want this printer - if the first one didn't have this bug, I would still have it. Updated April 7, 2021. On both test prints for the stand and the cube, I got a message: Checksum Mismatch Error on the last line (with numbers). The prints have not stopped and appear to be complete. The cube was printed from the USB drive that came with the printer. Benchy was printed using a USB connection to my laptop. I printed two large designs, the WW tiara and the door angel, and got the same error message, but the print stopped. However, at the end of the angel print, I saw a message (I forgot to take a picture) that said something about overheating. I turned off the printer and will be contacting the company for a replacement. It doesn't seem to be a new issue on older models, but it's probably the newest. Artillery is aware of this and has posted a message on their Facebook page on how to contact them regarding a new motherboard repair kit that I need to install. Not being tech savvy in that sense, I'm not sure I'd want to try replacing hardware and potentially ruining the printer beyond a repair or replacement. All in all, this is a great printer. I've only used the Flash Forged brand in the past and I didn't find it as easy to get started as with this one. I hope to get a hornet and a genius - once I solve problems with the Sidewinder. April 6, 2021 Perhaps a hasty review as I only received this printer yesterday and set it up today. However, I didn't see the recently published 2021 review and thought I'd start with that for anyone looking to buy this printer: Auxillery Sidewinder X1 V4 is the latest version. This is a solid, well-built 3D printer. I just set it up on my kitchen table while doing some test prints with PLA. It was easy to assemble and use. Took me about 30-45 minutes. I saw on YT where people said they started it at 10am. Good for you. It's too long because I've never owned a 3D printer before. Tip if you're like me: the guide is pretty easy to follow until you get to the first print. There are no instructions on how to load the filament, which sure sounds like a noob, but I'm new to this. So go to YT, there are a few people there who have made videos detailing everything from unboxing to setting it up. I found the YT tutorials more helpful than the manual. Even if you want to print from your computer/laptop you can do so. I'm currently doing a test print from a computer with Cura. Seriously, if I can understand it, everyone can understand it.
