Review on StarTech Com IEEE 1394 FireWire Cable 1394_96_6 by Alif Wills

My trusty 15ft cables from 10 years ago work great with my audio interfaces, these 2 25ft NOTS. I ordered two of these 25 foot FireWire 6-6 cables. One of these was open/unsealed - it didn't work. The other one worked at first and then stopped working. Went back to the old cables (they really aren't long enough, but I'll get them to work). Bottom line: I'm not sure the quality of these cables is worth it - they're very flimsy and don't seem capable of carrying a clean signal at high speeds. that's the distance.
