Sufficient, but not outstanding.

there are simply no tolerances and angles - the pen goes a bit slanted when pressure is applied. Good for popping out links where you want to shorten the chain (will ruin the links due to the defects previously described), but definitely not useful if you have a chain with no master link and want to use this tool to put the pins back in, close the chain again . To do this, you need a tool where everything happens at right angles.
