Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Premium Black Universal Projector Ceiling Mount by Kanto P101: Solid Steel Construction for Easy Installation by Nathan Jones

Halfway through, an additional purchase was required to complete the job.

On the projector side, this bracket is flexible and strong. The kit includes ten expandable metal extensions, four of which you'll find that fit the bottom screw holes of almost all modern projectors. Once all the screws are tightened, this bracket will sit flush and attach to the bottom of the projector. In the center is a rotating, tilting hanging stand that can be pulled up to manually adjust the projector's angle, or tightened firmly. So far, so good. The weak point of this mount is how to attach the ceiling mounting plate and the hollow extension poles to the middle hanging pole. The plate and post slide freely on the post and engage a pair of curved metal latches on opposite sides of the post. These latches fit into the rectangular slots on the underside of the plate and supports and provide a secure fit to prevent the projector from falling off the ceiling plate or supports. A pair of threaded screws are also provided to attach the plate or stand to the hanging stand. The downside to the design is that even when these screws are fully tightened, the projector can still be rocked back and forth in the freestanding rectangular slots of the latch. I found that the best way The solution to this problem is to use an external rectangular speaker mount instead of the supplied ceiling plate. It works because the ceiling tile tube diameter is the same as standard 1 3/8" speaker mounts. Here is a link to a replacement speaker mount that mounts snugly and securely to the suspension rod of this projector mount. The mount's tension knob should be on be aligned with the threaded hole of the strut, not the curved metal latch. =UTF8&qid=1545706097&sr=8-3&keywords=Speaker+stand+bracket -Speaker mounts.
