Daughter's friend left the freezer door ajar and no one noticed until the smell started. Due to the Covid panic buying (yes I'm ashamed) several lovely cuts of meat went bad and damn the smell inside and throughout the garage was awful! Didn't think my freezer could be saved. However, after pulling out the bags of coal, I realized where this smell had settled. They smell awful. The instructions state that the bags are meant to be "charged" by leaving them in the sun for a few hours. Did that and bingo - it doesn't smell there either! It's been three months and it's saved my freezer and budget! Thank you for developing an amazing product that really does what it promises!
