Since my state has a law that +2.75 is the maximum reading glasses power allowed, I bought these (+1.00) to go to +3.75. Worked! It's much more convenient to read. I read near - not far. As for the clip-ons, there's nothing to be done - the clip-ons slip a bit. But I didn't get a full 5 stars because the (nose) distance between the lenses is too small and the horizontal and vertical length is too long, they press against my nose and move. They don't look good on cheap reading glasses. They add no weight to my cheap readers. So for the price and overall quality. I recommend them.
