This is not the usual USB charging cable that comes with Apple products. I should have noticed how small and how close the ends are to each other. I needed a regular USB cable to plug it into an outlet, but it wasn't. So just a warning for those of us who didn't know there was a difference. On the plus side it looked good and included a nice storage box.
