I was so excited to order this item. I had purchased it for my business to use at craft fairs and such. First of all it's much smaller than I thought it would be in the pictures. I'm 5'2" and the top of the chalkboard sits right under my chin. I was bummed but I could still use it so no huge biggie. It's a little more flimsy that I thought it would be so you shouldn't plan on displaying anything too heavy.I wasn't completely disappointed or angry until I went to wipe off the chalkboard markers( that I have used on so many things with zero problems) and it won't come completely off! So now it's because just about useless unless I can find a way around it. UNLESS YOU PLAN ON USING REGULAR CHALK DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM!So the bottom line is.I was so happy to find this item for my business in my price range. Each time I have had to use it I've become more and more disappointed by the issues popping up, but kept thinking I could still make it work. This until I tried to erase the chalk. Now I feel unless I want it to look tacky, I can't use it. I have a show on Thursday 8/1 that I really really needed this for and don't think I can use it. It just sucks. I forgot to add that somehow between the time I used the fixture last weekend and when I took it out of my car today, I noticed that I have lost 3 washers and 1 screw. I'm thinking that these things were loosened by the vibrations of the car.I tightened these things as tight as the fixture would allow, so I am really confused. So now I really can't use it.
