Not going to lie-these trash bags are not cheap. But after throwing away my money on cheap thin bags that break, these seem like a deal. They can easily hold 40 pounds without stressing. I no longer have to worry about how much trash gets shoved into the trash can. You can keep pushing more and more trash in without damaging the bag. Even when pulling the bag out of the can, it does not stretch or tear. I’m guessing on the 40 pounds-but it’s so heavy when I take it outside that I have to take a break halfway to the outside can.
