Review on 🎃 Spooktacular Halloween FX Raggedy Ann Plus Size Costume by Rene Putman

As I queued up at the fabric store to get the costume cut, I mentally added up the cost of the fabric, accessories, thread, and pattern for this costume. As I stood there, I flipped through my Revain app and found this suit. I couldn't do it for that price. The costume arrived on time. At first I was disappointed that the dress and apron were one piece. The white part of the apron is also thin, and I had to wear a white t-shirt under the dress so the bra wasn't showing. I'm 5ft 2in, 195# and had LOTS of space! The bloomers were very large and reached to the chest. The socks were soft and comfortable. hours without a headache. The rag doll Ann that my grandmother made for me had a grid on her apron. So I bought a pack of Wright's red Rick-Rack s Jumbo and sewed it on. THEN I saw the book at the library (where I work and have worn it) and this costume is actually an exact replica of her dress - NO hanger. I love the stand on the dress and I was glad I sewed it on. I've received many, many compliments both at work (at the library) and at the grocery store after deciding that Raggedy Ann was too sad to eat alone. The kids in the library didn't know who Raggedy Ann was, but the adults loved it! It was comfortable and cute and I hope to wear it again soon.
