I started doing eyelash extensions at home with a similar kit about a year ago and I was so impressed with how easy it was and the end result. I ran out of my previous set (Iconsign brand) and decided to try another as I didn't like the glue that came with it to stick the lashes to the lift pad. That was a big mistake. This set was pretty much the same idea and steps as the Iconsign set I first received. With the Iconsign set, I allowed each step 10 minutes, so I did the same with this set, still following the instructions. One eye is fine, but the other eye is a different story. When I removed the pad from the problematic eye, it turned out that the inner corners of the lashes were severely bent. I thought maybe I didn't have those lashes properly on the pad and maybe I didn't realize they were stuck under the pad during the perming process and maybe they were pinched and permed. Again, I applied just the inner corner for a few minutes, making sure it lay evenly on the pad. When I removed the gasket everything looked fine at first, but after a few minutes everything was back to how it was after the first try. Turns out it TOTALLY fried/singed my lashes. I later found that the same thing happens with some lashes in the outer corner of my eye. I would love to share a photo but I was so horrified I couldn't even take a picture. I had to get eyelash extensions to keep from looking crazy and my eyelash stylist said all my eyelashes were badly damaged. Also, she could barely get lash extensions because my lashes were curled and roasted, but somehow she got the job done in three and a half hours (and $250). I'm thinking maybe this formula isn't meant for lashes (because they're thinner), or maybe hair frizz? I'm so mad at myself for buying another set when the first one was fine. In fact, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. As others have mentioned in their reviews, most of the bottles weren't fully filled. I included a picture of the glue when I first opened it as an example because the whole process was too stressful to take photos of anything else. Please do not buy! Choose Iconsign, but still be careful how long you wait at each step.
