Review on 🔩 SupraLite Belts by Riccar by Kristen Moore

After reading good and bad reviews I decided to take a chance and buy these straps for my Supralite sl1a. Knowing that they were going to be tight, I gave the first one, it seemed to me, a good stretch, installed it and turned on the vacuum cleaner. After a few seconds, the belt began to smoke and deteriorated. At this point I thought I'd give the second one a try, but really stretched it out, even beyond what I thought was necessary. I put it on and to my surprise it worked fine. No Smoking. I spun the brushroll by hand to make sure it wasn't too tight the first time, but noticed that the brush spun much better when the second strap was tightened. Time will tell if I order them again or go back to the Riccar brand, but for now at least the vacuum cleaner can be used.
