Instead of a zombie apocalypse I will use them on my rural farm to determine why my dogs bark at night. Do I have a horse or goat in trouble? Are there predators in animal enclosures? If so, is it just a couple of coyotes drinking water for the horses, or are they trying to get into the goat pen? Is there a stray horse/goat/sheep/cow roaming the paddocks that needs help until its owner is found in the morning? At 2am my mare decided she needed attention and the dogs were barking because she threw one of the water containers across the arena? That way I can assess the situation and most likely just go back to bed because my mare needs attention and my gelding doesn't want to play with her at 2am. These binoculars are very easy to use and work great. They appear to be of good quality. I haven't tried any of the camera features yet as I added this feature just for fun. I like that they can be used throughout the day without affecting the IR function. Besides, it's just fun. You can't put on a helmet and walk in the dark. They don't have a helmet mount and you don't get a sense of depth when you look through them. So it would be dangerous to look through them. When I first got them, I walked in front of the house lights to see how well I could see in the dark. I had no problem getting out of there because I turned on the moving lights to guide me. By the time I was ready to return to the house, the beacons were long gone and I was too far away to turn them on in the dark. Not my best moment. Bring a flashlight. I did a little research before buying them so I knew exactly what they are and what they would do before I bought them. I am satisfied with the quality, functionality and price of my purchase.
