Review on AMD Ryzen 3900X 24 Thread Processor by Jnis Pimberis ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

An ideal product for any type of consumer.

TDP An air cooler at 200w barely copes, under load up to 85 degrees, in games up to 70, the average is 55-65. The software from ASUS AI suite 3 shows a peak power consumption of 170w, with a load of 153w on all cores, I read that the power consumption is almost equal to TDP. But do not exaggerate, because. it does not even reach the maximum temperature, at 3900x it is 95 degrees. I practically don’t hear the cooler from the processor, i. E. It doesn't run at full speed. What can you advise if you decide to buy this percentage: - do not take it for games (at the moment, games do not use this number of cores.) - take normal cooling from 200w, in air a maximum of 250w. - take care of proper ventilation of the case from 10/20/2022

Pros
  • - The processor of course overkill, power reserve for a long time - 12 cores, good frequency, and as a result, good performance, which will last for a long time
Cons
  • - hot (details in the comment) - (irrelevant, after the bios ate took 4.575) you can find fault with the fact that 4.6 GHz never took, a maximum of 4.275 without overclocking.

Got pros: stable performance in its price segment. Got cons: he is not 5900x . but on the other hand he knew what he was buying)
